Speech and Language Therapy Services

Children's Services for schools and families

Promoting an inclusive approach for children and young people with speech language and communication needs.

Our Speech and Language Therapists (SALTs) work with children, young people, their families and professionals in order to maximise the potential of speech language and communication skills. We provide tailor made, integrated therapy within educational settings, in order to support the inclusion and participation of children and young people. We will see children outside of the NHS discharging criteria.

We can offer a range of support including:

  • Consultation and Assessment for children and young people (CYP) (0-25yrs)
  • Individual Curriculum Integrated Targets
  • Development of Whole School/Class Approaches
  • Parent Workshops
  • Home Visits
  • Training

Please do feel free to give us a call to speak to a Speech and Language Therapist to discuss your needs. You will not be charged for doing so. Or fill in the appropriate consultation form below and forward it to SENDBusinessSystems@suffolk.gov.uk
